Wonder Bricks!
Wonder Bricks! include 3 bricks and allow for 3 separate configurations. You can start a band and each of the three bricks will play a different instrument whenever you touch them. You can go to space and the bricks show “Blast Off” as well as a Rocketship with flames on the bottom using an LED matrix. You can also go racing and the matrix shows the car, one brick uses an accelerometer to become a steering wheel, and the final brick is a horn.
I worked on this project with 3 other students. I, along with one other student, were responsible for the design and fabrication of the bricks. This involved 3d printing, laser cutting, sand blasting, powdered pigment, and xtc 3d.
