TetraGas is an anaerobic digester designed to create methane gas for cooking from readily available animal manure for use on farms in rural Nigeria. Users begin by putting manure into the input subsystem. Here they mix it with water and then deposit it into the chamber. Digestion takes place, and creates methane gas and nutrient rich slurry output. TetraGas is made up of four distinct subsystems: inlet, body, gas outlet, slurry outlet. Validation testing was completed for each subsystem individually.
