Stirling Heat Engine
This was an individual project for a course in machine design and manufacturing in which I designed and manufactured a Stirling heat engine. My engine went 2188 RPM and was the fastest in the class.
I designed several components of my engine in order to fit my theme including the balance weight, bedplate, piston connecting rod, displacer connecting rod, output shaft, flywheel, and base. I designed each component in SolidWorks and created a full functioning CAD assembly. I then manufactured each component and assembled the final engine.
