How might we bring togetherness and natural social interaction to eating and cooking time for people living away from friends or family?
After interviewing and analyzing food diaries of volunteers with unique backgrounds and dietary restrictions, we designed Kitchen Crossing to tackle this problem. This app hopes to bridge the gap between in person and virtual social interaction.
What is Kitchen Crossing?
In the app you can visit friends in their virtual kitchens, cook and eat in real time, and explore the “town” meeting new people. Using SolidWorks 3D modeling and Figma we created a detailed prototype for Kitchen Crossing.
