Butterfly!
NOTE: Project still in progress due to current COVID-19 restrictions. Final product coming soon.
The Butterfly and mechanism were both designed in SolidWorks. The butterfly will be made out of aluminum with colorful UV curing resin in the wings. The mechanism will be custom manufactured out of aluminum.
Unfortunately, this project is currently incomplete due to COVID-19 restrictions. As soon as it is safe to do so this project will be fabricated using the Haas TL-1 triple axis Minimill, TL-1 lathe, and UV curing processes.
